What the website stores in your browser
- Cookies: the website does not store cookies in visitors' browsers; cookies are set only by the editorial panel and the draft preview for logged-in editors.
- Browser storage: your consent choice is saved in the browser storage (localStorage) under the key fw-consent: a random browser identifier, the accepted categories, the privacy policy version and the date of the decision.
- Rule (T-94): storing information on a user's device requires prior information and consent, unless it is necessary to provide a service the user requests.
Consent categories
Necessary
storing the consent choice, without which the banner would ask on every visit; always on (basis: exception for storage necessary for the service, T-94, to be verified).
Analytics
the visitor analytics script (Umami) loads only after consent to this category and counts page views; without consent, the website does not send data to analytics.

How long your choice is stored
- Consent choice: no expiry date; it remains until the website data is deleted in the browser or the policy version changes, after which the banner asks again.
- Decision register: each decision is also saved on the server side (browser identifier, decision, categories, policy version, website address, IP address hash) so that consent can be demonstrated (T-98); the retention period is given in the privacy policy.
Changing your choice
You can change your choice at any time using the "Consent settings" button in the website footer; withdrawing consent is as easy as giving it (T-97).
You can also delete the stored data in your browser settings (site data).
